  10. For those of you who haven`t bought the sky tv channel expander you will
  11. have  missed  out  on  britains  first  (and  probably last) "dedicated"
  12. computer  channel.   Broadcasting  every  day from 6pm until 8pm this so
  13. called   channel  gives  up  4  shows,each  with  different  aspects  of
  14. computers.

  17. [I  have  2 satellite systems in my bedroom and 2 dishes, 1 with 2 LNB's
  18. so I think I can get The Computer Channel.  8) Kei]

  21. First up and probably the worst is the 6.00 show which every night has a
  22. different theme like reviewing hardware,internet and the future.

  24. It  is  hosted  by  the  most  thickest man in television history - will
  25. hanrahan (which is a goofy name anyway).

  27. The  problem with old will is that he is just TOO thick,for example when
  28. asked about music sampling the guest said "o.k now I`m going to select a
  29. midi  sample" to which will responded..."whoa slow down a minute"...what
  30. the f**k???

  32. He  says  this all the time and another time asked how much this printed
  33. was,  "£299"  said  the guest, "ok (said will) lets call it £300 to make
  34. things easier"..what a complete spaz!!!

  36. The parents who review the hardware are completely baffled by everything
  37. and  the  dude  who  introduces  us  to  the  hardware (a ex games world
  38. employee)  is called geezer gadget...um excuse me but I thought this was
  39. going to be a `sensible` discussion???

  41. All  of  these  show  by will are completely crap,for example when asked
  42. about  whether  a  new  digital  camera  could  be  downloaded  onto any
  43. computer,geezer  gadget  said  "yes  it will download on any computer as
  44. long as it`s a pc" read my words...WHAT A TOSSER!

  46. After  will comes kate russel (sexy chick) and big boy barry..yes him of
  47. games  world fame.  Many of you would have cringed at the thought of the
  48. big  boy (real name alex verry) but I actually like him because the show
  49. runs along at a very nice pace with great quips and generall humour from
  50. the  big  boy  (who  looks as if he has put on ALOT of weight since last
  51. time).

  53. Such  humour  refers to kate russels `kitty` which is the prize `box` of
  54. course  refering  to  what  we in the medical field call `the clitoris`.
  55. Such  gems  are:   boy kate you can certainly squeeze alot in your tight
  56. kitty!

  58. Also  (not  to  be  totally  sexist)  is barrys sack which holds alot of
  59. stuff...(!)

  61. The  reviews  are  by ravi choprer (a u.s gold game tester -well he WAS)
  62. and ex violet blade dude rik something-or-other.

  64. All of these are good until 15 minutes into the show where they show old
  65. repeats  of  beat the elite and the eliminator....I wonder what happened
  66. to colin the console cowboy and chums?

  69. Generally this channel would survive for a number of reasons...
  70.  
  71. 1) Ignores all other non pc computers...no amigas
  72. 2) 2 hours for a channel..no way it should be much longer
  73. 3) Is too childish at times
  74. 4) Doesn`t appeal to us `scene guys and traders!`
  75. 5) It has will hanaran in it.

  78. Before I go I would just like to say to that ex violet blade `star` (who
  79. looks gay) F**K YOU!

  82. Why?   well  they were reviewing x2 the sequel to project x,riks comment
  83. was  `project  x first came out on a machine no one owns anymore`...piss
  84. off  rik I`m using one now and if i was to choose between having a up to
  85. the  date  pc  or  my amiga i would stick with this one because it`s the
  86. best..it`s  carried  the best,it`s developed the best and it will always
  87. be..THE BEST!
